There is beauty in the coming together of individuals in collaboration of the same vision. In August 2021, ANDYMKOSI joined photographer Lebogang Tlhako, stylist Nqobile Nxumalo, and creative director Thando Zethembe in a joint collaboration with model Oneeleng Mmolawa. “Creating is a love language. This is a love language for us.” says stylist Nqobile, when commenting on their collaboration together.

All on a mission to dorn Oneeleng, who is dressed in a red leather jacket that glistened whenever it would catch the sunset light, was also accessorized by Sisterbozza’s intricate jewellery pieces. Nqobile’s styling is striking.

The images were shot at a basement parking area, in a building within Johannesburg’s inner city. The lighting was perfect for photographer Lebogang, who later said “The first thing that stood out when we got to the location was the light! It was so good, I had to frame her around it”

The shoot ended when the film roll finished. Unfortunately this was during the creativity’s peak. Nevertheless, the collaborators were satisfied with the work regardless.
